Questions doctors ask us
How is DocJED priced?
Pay as you go. There is no signup fee, no setup fee and no fixed monthly package. Each record counts as 1 unit and each image or captured page as 5 units, and your dashboard shows your usage and estimated amount throughout the month.
Do we have to encode our old paper charts first?
No. Photograph old charts directly into the patient’s record and start using DocJED right away. The original image is kept, you can zoom in any time, and optional text recognition helps you search them.
Can my secretary prepare patients before I see them?
Yes. Your assistant registers patients, books visits, attaches documents and prepares previous records, so you spend the consultation on the patient, not the software.
Who owns the patient records?
Your clinic or hospital does. DocJED processes the records only to provide the service, and each clinic sees only its own records.
Do I need to install anything?
No. DocJED runs in the browser on computers, tablets and phones. The queue screen runs on any display with a browser.
How are doctors verified?
You register with your PRC license and an official ID. DocJED checks them before your clinic is activated or before you are linked to a hospital.
